WOODWAY Debuts Eco-Friendly Treadmill at IHRSA Show – Requires Zero Electricity
San Fransisco, CA - March 20, 2009 — WOODWAY has been the world leader in energy efficient treadmill technology for over 35 years and continues to raise the bar when it comes to new ideas and designs. The 2009 International Health, Racquet and Sportsclub Association (IHRSA) was the launching pad for the company’s latest innovation, the EcoMill.
“The EcoMill takes advantage of Woodway's superior, near frictionless drive system and allows users to workout in an eco-friendly way, using zero electricity,” explained Eric Weber – WOODWAY Director of Sales and Marketing. “If a facility is looking to make an immediate impact on the environment without sacrificing the products they offer to members, then the EcoMill serves as a great alternative to conventional motorized treadmills that consume a great deal of electricity.”
The main theme in the WOODWAY booth was “Be Green. Run Clean”, referring to WOODWAY’s longstanding history as the industry leader in efficiency and sustainability. WOODWAY’s motorized treadmills have always been built For The Long Run and required far less electricity to function, the EcoMill takes things one step further. |
